A GLORIOUS DAY OF GOLF
We were so lucky with the glorious sunshine at our charity golf day on Thursday 17th June at the Exeter Golf and Country Club. 14 teams of four enjoyed a day of golf, a putting contest, a raffle, an auction and evening meal to help raise money for the West of England. After the game we offered golfers the chance to have a go at our putting contest where they had to wear different spectacles which simulated various types of visual impairment. Aside from being good fun, this really got everyone thinking about the young people we were raising money for who live with their visual impairment everyday.
